3 Position and Standing Smallbore Match

EQUIPMENT:
1. Any .22LR meeting the rifle rules in the CMP Smallbore Competition Rules, the rimfire sporter rifle rules in
the CMP Games Rifle and Pistol Competition Rules, or any other .22LR rifle suitable for marksmanship
training. Aperture sights and scopes allowed.
2. Spotting scope sufficient to see bullet holes at 50 feet. The club does have a few spotting scopes to
borrow. We may need to squad in order to share spotting scopes.
3. Smallbore competition or highpower competition shooting gear such as jackets, gloves, and mats are
allowed
4. Eye and ear protection are REQUIRED.
5. Empty chamber indicator safety flag is REQUIRED. Trimmer line with a knot on one end makes a great
.22 LR safety flag.
6. Any safe ammo. The club does have ammo available for sale.
7. Targets
a. A-17 smallbore target for 50 feet indoors.

THREE POSITION COURSE OF FIRE (60-shot)
1. Indoor matches will use the A-17 target. This target has 10 record bullseyes and one sighting bullseye.
You will have a block time of 70 minutes to complete the following. Use a new target for each position.
You may shoot positions in any order.
a. Standing, unlimited sighters, 20 shots for record (2 shots per bullseye).
b. Sitting or kneeling, unlimited sighters, 20 shots for record (2 shots per bullseye).
c. Prone, unlimited sighters, 20 shots for record (2 shots per bullseye).
STANDING POSITION COURSE OF FIRE (60-shot)
1. Indoor matches will use the A-17 target. This target has 10 record bullseyes and one sighting bullseye.
You will have a block time of 60 minutes to complete the following.
a. Standing, unlimited sighters, 20 shots for record (2 shots per record bullseye) on each of three
target sheets.
