What is PCSL 2-Gun? Think of it like . . .
– UML 2 Gun, but with hit factor scoring
– USPSA, but you also shoot a rifle, and there’s more variety of target types

. . . and all the cardboard targets are weird looking.

This is a special match to take advantage of an extra weekend in the month, it will not be a regular match series at ORSA.

# Rules and divisions
###

Please see the attached 2023 PCSL 2-Gun Division document to see where you fall. Note that you’re free to use a PCC for your rifle, but you must shoot in Competition division. If you’re unsure, just bring what you have and we’ll get you sorted at check-in. If you’re a new shooter, please arrive by 9:30, leave your guns in the car, and come talk to us at registration about range safety rules.

# Fees
###

Match fees are $15 for ORSA members, $20 for public, and $5 for juniors. We can only accept cash.

# Safety rules
###

Handguns may be carried unloaded and holstered (as in most other sports). Long guns must be unloaded with a visible chamber flag, and carried in a bag or with the muzzle always pointing up or down. Hot re-holstering is NOT PERMITTED at ORSA during any matches. You will not be required to sling and carry the rifle.

# Everything else
###

Round counts will be roughly 125 pistol and 125 rifle. You CAN NOT use any penetrator rounds like M855/”green tip” or similar.

We will have 5 stages. Some stages may be pistol-only or rifle-only, but the majority will involve transitions between both firearms. You will have to shoot out to 100-125yd with rifle/PCC, so make sure you know your holds.

If you don’t show up at registration by 9:45, we will be unhappy with you.
