I’ve been a member for over five years. Last year I bought a suppressor for my AR’s and another for my pistols. I used them at the range a few times. I was recently informed by one of our officers that suppressors aren’t allowed at the range. I had no idea this was a rule because in addition to being present when others used their suppressors, it isn’t addressed in any manner in any of the rules posted at each range, nor is it mentioned in the range rules online. I was told it was an insurance issue, which I understood. Could members with suppressors sign some sort of waiver concerning ORSA’s responsibility in this matter or can the board figure out a solution so members with suppressors could use them. As a last resort, should this range restriction be published so the members actually know that suppressors aren’t allowed. Thanks for your attention.
