ORSA Members’ Sporting Clays ~ America 250 Shoot
This special tournament celebrates America’s 250th Anniversary (1776–2026).

Date & Time: Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

Location: ORSA Sporting Clays, 149 Gum Hollow Road, Oak Ridge, TN (located directly across from the Oak Ridge Country Club).

Eligibility: Restricted to ORSA members, their families, and a limit of one permitted guest per member.

Capacity & Targets: Limited to 56 shooters total; 100 targets.

Entry Fee: $50 per shooter (includes lunch). Guest lunches can be purchased for $5.

09:30 AM: Registration opens

10:00 AM: Tournament shoot begins

12:00 PM (Noon): Lunch (Hamburgers, hot dogs, and sides)

01:00 PM: Prizes & Awards presentation
Prizes & Scoring Style
-
Scoring System: Uses Lewis Class style scoring, which gives every participant a balanced opportunity to win prize money.

Cash Awards: Equal cash prizes will be awarded to the top two shooters within each class. Classes are determined by sorting total shooter scores from highest to lowest and dividing the pool into 4 or 5 groups.

Ties: Score ties will receive equal class prizes.

Door Prizes: Special promotional door prizes will be drawn.

Crucial Rule: You must be present at the time of the drawing to collect any cash or door prizes.

Deadline: Pre-registration is mandatory and handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Submissions must be received before July 10, 2026.

Squadding: Maximum group size is 4 shooters. Groups should be submitted together and listed clearly on the back of the registration form.

PPE: Ear and eye protection is strictly required at all times for competitors, trap personnel, and spectators on the fields.

Liability: All competitors and spectators explicitly assume any and all safety risks resulting from accidents.
